Magnemite (Gold / Silver) + pattern

Bzzzzt! I never really liked this Pokémon. I have no idea why, probably because he was only catchable in scary places. Admit it, as a 10 year old kid these places were scary as hell. Click on 'read more' for the pattern. Happy crafting!

Togepi (Gold / Silver) + pattern

Awww. Isn't she cute? Not a lot to say, start crafting! For the pattern click on 'read more'.

Day 2: lifesize Super Mario [huge perler beads project]

Maybe I should call him 'Mario The Giant'? His shoe is almost as big as one A4 paper (or one 'US letter', I guess?).

Red Angry Bird from perler beads

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope, it's an Angry Bird! He (or she?) will definately protect me from green pigs in the middle of the night. Go Red Bird!

Beads: +-600
Time: 90 minutes

Glow in the dark Boo

I like big projects but sometimes it's also nice to make small ones. I made a glow in the dark Boo from the Mario-series.

Day 3: Mario, Peach and Luigi [big Perler beads project]

I didn't had a lot of time today, but more importantly: I don't have any pegboard space left "^_^.
Anyway, I finished the biggest part of Luigi's body:

Day 1: lifesize Super Mario [huge beads project]

Eventhough the picture isn't fantastic, it's still clear who this cap belongs to: the one and only Mario!
When finished, this Mario beads project will be 170 centimeters high! Now I need to find a place to put him when finished...

Day 2: Mario, Peach and Luigi [big Perler beads project]

I've spent about 5 hours today on this project. I've finished Mario and Peach today. I might finish Luigi tomorrow. I'm really happy with the result so far!

Big beads project: Mario, Peach and Luigi (day 1)

It's not fun to work on a big project alone. I'm a huge fan of Super Mario World so I wanted to do a 'big beads project' from this game. This is the progress I made on day 1. It took me 90 minutes so far, because I had to do it twice (it's difficult to count for me, apparently ;-)).

Huge beads project: Super Mario with star

After Donkey and Diddy it's time for Mario. It will be a Super Mario (get it? Lame joke.). This project will be approx. 170cm high. I expect to work a houndred hours on this one.

The project won't have the black surface around it, so it will only be Mario.

This is how the project will look like. Interested in buying? Contact me on Twitter (@GameBeadsMaker) or YouTube.

Finished: Donkey Kong, 46250 beads!

Pfew. It took me a houndred and fifteen hours to complete but the result turned out great. This project was made with 46.250 beads! It's 1.10 meter high and 1.20 meter wide (almost 9 Wii boxes wide!). Click on 'read more' to see some photos and a video of the project.
